USING THE APA FORMAT

Brief APA details:

General APA Guidelines

Your essay should be typed, double-spaced on standard-sized paper (8.5" x 11") with 1" margins on all sides. You should use 10-12 pt. Times New Roman font or a similar font.

Include a page header in the upper right-hand of every page. To create a page header, type the first 2-3 words of the title of the paper, insert five spaces, then give the page number.

Dear all, I was informed by Dr. Sobri regarding our assignment dateline. It is official that the due date for our latest case study titled - Slimline: Marching to a Different Drummer, Textbook: pages 379-281 is due on our next meeting on 3 Dec 2008 (Saturday). For our Project Paper, the due date is on the 17 Jan 2009. Please relate this information to others.

FMA 6043 - INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
Notice on PROJECT PAPER - URGENT!

As all of you have been informed, Dr. Mohd Sobri has given us an Individual Project Paper Assignment.

a) First Choice:
Select one topic from the text book (Griffin, Ricky W. and Pustay, Michael W., 2007) and give focus on a particular topic. For example: Chapter 4, The Role of Culture. Write the paper on this i.e. 'Doing Business in Japan: The Impact of Japanese Culture and Challenges'. Another example: Chapter 9, Nontarrif Barriers. You can write a paper on 'Textile and Apparel Industry in Malaysia: Issues of Nontarrif Barriers'.

b) Second Choice
The Internationalization of a Malaysian Company. Select a well known Malaysian company and write a paper on it. Give focus on issues and challenges that the company face towards making a name in the Intenational arena. Evaluate the company, providing secondary information as references.

The paper must be a form of 'literature work/review/writing' that follows the APA format. For more details, please contact directly the Instructor.

Dear all, please be advised that FMA 6043 - International Business meetings for 27 & 28 December have been postponed to 3 & 4 January 2009.
